Nail Tech cited for Unlawful Intrusion​

An emotional story of one woman's privacy being invaded by her nail tech. This was my first official exclusive story for KETV, and I was honored to be trusted by Kourtney to tell her story. I had to read through police reports, fact check all allegations and give the nail salon an opportunity to respond. The morning after my story aired, the nail salon called back stating they had fired the nail tech involved.

Another package from my time at KETV. A heartwarming story about two elementary school students taking initiative to help their neighbors and peers who aren't able to readily afford food.

Iowa Apartment Complex without heat

This was my second investigative story for KETV, and one that took time gaining residents' trust to tell their story. The apartment complex residents had been without heat since November, this story aired late December. The landlords have yet to respond to my phone call or email or fix their heat.

In a record setting season, this upbeat story showcases the dedication of Husker volleyball fans leading up to the team's Regional Final match. I shot, wrote and edited this entire package.

In this package, you will see my live stand-ups as well as an example of my editing and writing work. This story came after a slew of deadly crashes in the Omaha area.

This package was one of my first breaking news live shots. I had around 30 minutes to gather the information, write a VOSOT, edit it and get on air for our 4 and 5 pm shows.

KETV Anchor Reel​

On Christmas Eve this year, I was given the great opportunity to solo anchor our 5:30, 9 and hour long 10 pm shows. This was my first time anchoring at KETV. I was also responsible for still turning a package for air that day. Since, I have rewatched all three shows and taken notes on things I can improve for my next opportunity.
